Everything you need to know about Otoro.
You can save recipes from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and any public recipe website. Just paste the link and Otoro extracts the title, ingredients, and steps automatically. For video links, the recipe needs to be in the description or pinned comments.
Yes. Every recipe you save is stored privately and linked only to your account. Nothing is shared across users, and we don't sell your data or use your recipes to train AI models.
Yes. Otoro supports importing from Paprika and Mela — just export your library from those apps and upload the file. Your full collection will be brought in, with recipes accessible up to your plan's limit.
Yes. You can tell Otoro what you have in the fridge, or what you want to exclude (allergies, preferences), and it'll return only recipes that match. This works across your full saved library.
Not currently. For video links, the recipe needs to be written in the description or pinned comment. Most cooking creators include this — but if the recipe is only spoken in the video, Otoro won't be able to extract it.
Yes, Otoro is available on both iOS and Android. You can also use it directly in any browser — your library stays in sync across all your devices.
Otoro has a free plan that lets you save and search up to 20 recipes. For unlimited recipes, meal planning, and shopping list features, we offer a Pro plan. No credit card required to get started.
Otoro uses a combination of semantic and keyword search so you can ask in natural language — "something quick with chicken and lemon" — and get accurate matches from your personal library, not the whole internet.
